As part of my amazing experience at TEDx last week, I learned something - another perspective of thinking outside the box and this is… how to think outside the fence. #TEDxFargo

 
 

Here are the other events aside from TEDx I participated during my stay in Fargo, North Dakota…

  1. Emerging Digital Academy.   It is an event that gives people a chance to learn software skills, allowing them to get jobs immediately and in the local economy.

  2. Startup brew. A conference where founders have a chance to share what's happening with their venture or their activities.

  3. The Grant Farm is modeling the farm of tomorrow. They just broke ground on their theoretical future farm, which will exist in a few years.

 

Here are some of the things that I want you to know about how the emerging prairie created the TEDx event…

  1. They helped me expand my Fargo community by making me have dinner at a table with three people I'd never met before.

  2. Christelle Burks and Tyree Burks inspired me when they talked about the contributions that the local business community made to their businesses.

  3. Emerging Prairie did a splendid job of setting up the lawn in front of the civic center, where the event was held.

  4. They had games, they had bands, and they had tables set up for lunch.

  5. There was an after-party when the event finished, which was great for the local community

  6. Emerging prairie was able to bring dozens of people out to restaurants that wouldn't normally go to one
